Dr. John W. Vitz provides personalized, quality care in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  Dr. Vitz has served our community since 1972.  He earned his D.D.S. degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1969 and served in the United States Air Force from 1969 - 1971.  Dr. Vitz has been selected by the National Register to be included in their year 2000 Millennium Edition of Who's Who In Executives and Professionals.

Professional Organizations: Charter Member of the Diablo Chapter of the internationally renown Seattle Study Club.

Game Designer:  In 1980 designed, produced and marketed a tabletop board game called BASEBALL CHALLENGE.  A baseball simulation game for the consummate baseball strategist.

Songwriter:  Writer of hundreds of songs ranging from Country to Pop to New Age to Rock & Roll to Novelty songs to Children's songs to Christian Songs, etc.. Maybe some day you will hear one or two of them.

Composer:  In 1999, composed a work for orchestra and chorus entitled A Mass for Peace in the Third Millennium, a 60-minute presentation of the Roman Catholic Latin Mass.  The score is contemporary, reminiscent of Andrew Lloyd Weber, Enya and James Horner (with a little Beethoven in the mix for good measure).  In 2004, this work was performed as a World Premier by the Oakland East Bay Symphony and a 90 voice chorus at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Berkeley.  In 2005, A Mass for Peace was presented at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland.  Both of these performances were met with entusiastic standing ovations!  Now, Angelus Music has produced a world class CD of A Mass for Peace in the Third Millennium.  To sample the music from the CD, visit www.angelusmusic.com.

In 1998, Dr. Vitz composed Totus Tuus, which is based on the Mysteries of the Rosary.  He was honored to have a CD of Totus Tuus presented to His Holiness, Pope John Paul II, in November, 2000.
